A tribute to the artistic creation of humanity
The Bellas Artes palace, whose construction began in the period of Porfirio Diaz and lasted for three decades, is an original monument that gathers an unusual sample of artistic elements of varied styles and origins, which, as a whole , worship the artistic creation of humanity and express the mestizo condition of Mexican art.
In this tour we will visit the exterior facade of the Palace, appreciating its architectural elements and sculptures. We will also visit the hall and the original vestibule, which gathers a rich sample of sculptures and architectural elements Art-deco, with indigenous and Greco-Roman motifs. We will see a varied mural exhibition, which shows us the peculiar revolutionary perspective that on the past and present of Mexico, had outstanding muralists such as Diego Rivera, Jorge Gonzalez Camarena and David Alfaro Siqueiros.
